    Airport transfer from/to Agadir are available for 15€ pp. person/transfer.
    Please note that Surfing is not included on arrival day.

  • We don't require a minimum stay booking. You can also book for only 1 night.Description text goes here

  • Please use our booking platform to place a booking online.

    After sending your booking request, we will quickly check if everything is okay with it and confirm availability by sending a booking confirmation email, where you can find payment details and a link to manage your booking online.

  • We will give our best to answer your booking request within 24 hours.

  • To reserve your spot we require a deposit of 30%. The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to arrival.

  • When confirming your booking a 30% deposit will be required. 30 days before arrival day the deposit will be refundable. After that the deposit becomes non-refundable.

    7 days before arrival the remaining balance (70%) for your stay will be due.The booking will be non-refundable 7 days prior to arrival day.

Preparation

    • Hat to protect your head during the time at the beach

    • During winter: warm clothes for the yoga classes and evenings

  • Bathroom towels are provided but please make sure to bring a beach towel.
    Bathroom towels can be changed upon request during your stay. Just let us know and we will give you a fresh towel. :)

  • European 2 round pin plug

  • You can only buy alcohol in the liquor stores in Agadir, 20min drive from Tamraght. If you would like to go for a drink, there is a few bars in town that offer cocktails, wine and beer, same goes for nightlife in Taghazout.

  • The local currency is Morccan Dirham (MAD). 1 Euro equals 10.77 Moroccan Dirham as of February 2019. You can exchange Euros at the airport at a decent rate.

  • There is an ATM right at the main street, close to the fuel station, you can ask, but we also put it on our guestmap

  • Most travelers who want to visit Morocco can do so without applying for a visa if your trip will not exceed three months. However, is it essential that all travellers arrive with a passport that is valid for at least six months from the time you enter Morocco. (source: wikipedia)

  • All guests are advised to purchase travel insurance that covers sport activities like surf and yoga.

  • You don't need any vaccinations.

  • Yes, there is a pharmacy close to the main road.

  • You can purchase a SIM card in the local telephone shop in Taghazout. The price is around 60 MAD = 6 EUR. You can buy top-up cards in most of the shops. 1 GB of data is around 10 MAD = 1 EUR.

    Alternatively we can recommend just using an eSim. There are several apps providing this for iOS and Android in the AppStore.

  • Surf board, leash and wetsuit are included in the package.

  • Yoga mats and blocks are provided onsite.

  • Car rentals are available in town. You need an international drivers license to drive in Morocco.

Getting here

  • The nearest airport is Agadir Al Massira. You can also fly to Marrakech or Essaouira, both 3-4 hours away from Taghazout.

  • Please provide your flight details (time and flight number) and we will arrange the airport pickup for you. The driver will wait outside in front of the arrival hall with a name paper.

    Price per transfer from/to Agadir Airport: 15€ per person

    You can add airport transfers when booking online on our booking platform. In case you would like to add a transfer later on, please contact us via email.

  • You can take the public bus from Marrakech bus station to Agadir bus station (3,5 hours bus ride, price: 12€ per ticket). From Agadir bus station you can book your transfer with us (15€ per transfer). The two main bus companies are SUPRATOURS and CTM.

    Or using the shuttle bus from Tamraght to Marrakech and vice versa for around 25 EUR per trip. You will find it here:

    Or taking g a private taxi for 120 EUR per trip going directly to Tamraght or Marrakech.

  • You can take a bus from Essaouira to Agadir city. The two main bus companies are SUPRATOURS and CTM. Check their online schedules here:

The Surfhouse

  • We are located in the upper parts of Tamraght. The location is very calm. It's a 10min walk down to the main street and 15min walk to the beach. We provide shuttles to the surf spots.

  • If you let us know about your arrival location and time we will arrange your pickup from the airport or bus station in Agadir. Alternatively you can find the location on our website.

  • The beach is 15min by walk.

  • There are 8 rooms available in our house. Three each in floor two and three and two rooms in the ground floor.

  • We offer a range of Moroccan and international cuisine made from local ingredients and can cater for different special diets: vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian, gluten free, lactose free.

  • The tap water in Morocco is not drinkable. We offer filtered drinkable water onsite for free.

  • Check-In is available from 14:00. If your room is ready before that, you are welcome to check-In to your room earlier.

  • If you like to join Surfing classes on your departure day, please keep in mind to check-out before departure for Surf classes and leave your luggage at the reception.

    You can use the communal bathrooms to freshen up after surf classes and get ready for departure.

  • We can store your luggage at the reception in ground flloor.

The Surf

  • Most of our guests are surf newbies and try surfing for the very first time with us. You will learn all the basics that you have to know when starting surfing.

  • Yes. Board, leash and wetsuit are provided.

  • The high season for surfing is from October till March.

  • Wetsuit is recommended all year round to protect you from the sun.

    Water temnperature is mostly around 16.5° - 20.3° in January and between 19°-22.5° in September.

  • Surfing is from 10:30 till 16:00. You will have 2 hours of surf lessons in the morning, then lunch break at the beach, and finally 2 hours of supervised surf practice in the afternoon

  • We have divide our surf student into 2 different levels, surf beginners and intermediates. The surf instructors will teach their students according to their surf levels.

  • Swimming, push-ups, back muscle training.

  • Our area offers a large range of good surf spots, suitable for beginners and intermediates, 5-15 min drive from our house.

  • Surf transport is included in all packages. We take our guests by car to one surf spot per day and different surf spots during the week (if surf & weather conditions allow).

Yoga

  • The level of the yoga classes are suitable for beginners without any prior experience

  • Yoga mats, blocks, pillows and straps are provided onsite.

  • We offer up to two yoga classes per day, Vinyasa morning class and yin yoga/restorative sessions for the evenings.

    During the summer we offer mostly morning classes as the evenings can get quite hot.

  • You can just drop into the class without registering.
